About Diablo Canyon:
| Diablo Canyon outside Santa Fe New Mexico offers climbing on basalt cliffs up to 300 hundred feet tall. There are a 84 trad and bolted routes in place with about 3/4 of them bolted, however, with trad equipment you can select a line and go for it. The group mostly from Santa Fe that put these in believed that orginal trad lines should stay unbolted. Bolted lines were put in when protection was sparse or runout was just too long. |
