It is located about 1 or 2 miles north of the town of Arietta on route 10, about 6 miles north of Pine Lake. Parking is on the right side of the road (if traveling north) and the trail is across the road. There are two trails to get to the top, the long way is marked well and long, the short cut is not marked well and is steep at times. Take the trail in about a half mile until you see the sign in board and there you will see the trails on a map. The shortcut is marked but is hard to notice. The short cut takes alittle over a half hour where the long way can take about an hour. Tents can be put up at the top or along the well organized campsites at the lake. |
