Spanky
About Spanky:
This minor south facing 100' slab is easily visible to travelers approaching on Route 73 from the south,1.5 miles south of Chapel Pond. It stands directly above a small pulloff on the east side of the road at a break in the gaurdrail. After a stream crossing, a short steep hike takes one to the base of the cliff. The most notable feature here is an unclimbed of roofs on the left side of the crag. The climbing done so far is all on less intimidating but higher rock to the right. |
