About Poke-O-Moonshine:
Poke-O-Moonshine is a premier cliff. Its steep wall, clean cracks, and abundant natural lines make it a crag to rival any in the east. There are three general sections. The Slab, has face and friction routes of about 600'. To the north is the Main Face. This is a looming gray wall that stands about 500' high and spans over a quarter of a mile. This is the most climbed. Above the Main Face are cliff bands scattered toward the summit. These are the Upper Tiers, some about 100' and have potential for hard climbs. |
