About The Dihedrals:

Much taller than Moss Island(60 feet?) and much more fun on lead due to the exposure. People find that the height, dirty rock and the thunder of trains going by (every 10 minutes) only adds a sense of excitement that you don't get at Moss Island. The sound is so loud at times that communication between the climber and belay is impossible. This area offers some great crack climbing.
Approach: Take route 5 east out of Little Falls. Drive 2 miles and turn right onto River Road. Drive to its dead end where there is ample parking. The Dihedrals are visible from here. A path leads up the drainage towards the railroad tracks and is usually wet.
