About Little Rock City:
Area is controlled by Allegany DEC [Department of Environmental Conservation] (716) 372-0645 and climbing is allowed in this area, but please avoid faces that have a lot of moss on them as it is a scenic hiking area. Many rocks are covered in moss, but there is some good clean rock if you look around. [Various randon boulders all over the hillside] Most climbs under 30' with a lot of large boulders to play on and just a really neat spot to visit. Lots of trees to anchor top ropes and many of the larger boulders also have trees on top making good rappels or top rope climbs. Rock is a rough conglomerate. |

There is not currently a sign at the gate, but you turn off 219 onto Hungry Hollow Road and follow that up the mountain until it turns into a dirt road and all the way up to the top of the mountain. At the crest of the hill Rock City Rd. turns left and goes 2 miles to parking area. Rocks are easily seen from parking area.
