Nearest town or city: | Sentinel Butte |
Directions: | The climbing area is on the top of Sentinel Butte (the butte itself, not the town Sentinel Butte). There is only one main road that leads up there (there is a second but it requires a 4x4 vehicle). Ask anyone in the town of Sentinel Butte and they will be able to tell you how to drive up to the top of the butte. Once you get to the top of the butte follow the road straight towards the back of the butte. Stop your vehicle as soon as the road starts to turn left. If you are facing towards the back of the butte the bolts are northeast of your position. The bolts are about 30 ft. from the road. There are only two top rope bolts on top of the butte. There are an additional five bolts placed for a sport route right next to the top rope route. |
