About Square Butte:
| This butte seems to have the most solid rock of any of the other buttes. It appears to provide the best chance for any semi-quality climbing. Around 2000 a friend from Bismarck placed three steal posts on top of the cliff face to rappel down and climb up on. A handful of people have climbed out there before however no official routes have been established there. If you are interested in climbing here I suggest you contact me and I will try to provide you information on the area. |
