Black Wall
About Black Wall:
Black Wall is a sandstone cliff to the far right side of the main cliff band when facing the cliffs. The base of the wall is in the trees, and the upper 2/3 is typically sunny, and gets hot due to the rock being blackish. The rock quality is okay, but some smaller holds have a tendancy to break. With more climbing traffic the quality should improve. |
Approach: | Hike up the main trail from the parking lot. When you see the black guardrail at the top of the cliffs, the top of Black Wall is just beyond the first black railing (far left of the cliff band when approaching from the main trail through the woods). |
