Easiest option is to set a top rope at the top of the cliff. There are several trees and a large pipe you can use as anchors, just make sure you dont disturb the people in the office buildings.

Description:
Very beginner friendly crack found in the middle of a waterfront park found in Bends Old Mill District. Park in the parking lot of the dog park across the river from the mall and follow the path that runs parallel to the water. There will be cliffs on your rights with office buildings lining the top. Once you get within fifty yards of the footbridge that crosses the river (there is a kids playground on the other side), look to your right and you should see a relatively flat face with a large crack running down the right side of this segment of rock. The base of the crack is shielded from the path by boulders, so you'll have to scramble off the path a bit to get there. The first few moves will be small jugs, then the crack widens enough to get your fingers in. Most footholds will be smears.Descent Options:

First Ascent of Riverbend Park Crack
Great time. Got it second try. Setting up the anchor warranted some interesting looks from passersby including an older man who told us "You watch too much MTV."
