About Bandon State Park:
Between the wind and the sand, this is a good, undeveloped spot to climb. Up and down the beach are dozens of untouched boulders. Because the sandstone here is constantly eroded by the wind, some of the holds break easily. While this area doesn’t cater to the hardcore climber, it is excellent if you’re in the area and you need a quick climbing fix. The best time to visit here early fall. |
