| Approach: | rom upper landing, hike climbers trail down to abandoned register on abandoned rd 850. Just right of the register you will find the Rooster Rock Ridge trail. Follow the trail to the top of the first large hill where you will find a trail that take off on the left flagged with orange flagging. Follow this trail to the base of Panorama and the upper part of the Rabbit Ears (refer to map 9 pg 176). From the bottom of the switchback side hill left away from Panorama and Rabbit Ears (no trail) into the next draw until you pass just above a failed stream channel. Drop down hill about 100 feet along the left side of the failed stream until you pick the trail back up on your left flagged with orange flagging. Continue on the trail until you come to the uphill side of Royal Arch. |
