About Slabside Pinnacle:
| To reach Slabside pinnacle and Leo spire you will need to hike along the climbers trail that runs from road 850 to Rooster rock. From the Rooster rock trail summit head north west on this trail for about 1/4 mile you will descend about 200 vertical feet in a few switch backs to broad saddle in the ridge. Slabside Pinnacle can be seen to the northwest about 250 feet away it has a large slab leaning against it’s uphill (northeast) side. There are a few routes on Slabside but the reason to visit is to continue down the hill 200 feet and a little right to Leo Spire where the real routes are. |
