Mosserati Area
About Mosserati Area:
The classic Mosserati, with "modern" (late 2000's) of quality as well, this area is a bit like the Pedestal Area - just further down the band. The 1st pitch of many quality climbs are tucked together, with a less than visible 2nd pitch stretch beyond foliage. Top-rope unprotectable projects, cleaned but never faed, this area has a lot of room for growth, with new projects with a lot of real estate between Makeover Band and Mosserati Corner, with a lot of good looking unclimbed plum lines, and "The Towers" an unclimbed pinnacle like formation breaking the distance between Mosserati Corner and the X-Marks Band. |
Approach: | Makeover Band can be a slight hike from the base of Lost Art, and Mosserti Corner is well beyond even Makeover Band. Lots of Cliff. But, once your to Mosserati Corner, X-Marks and Goldband aren't too much further... |
Approach Time: | 30 min, 45 gawking at lines on the way |

Access Issues: | Keep Moolack Bolt-Less. No New Trails. Consider the original "leave the first 10 meters of easy climbing mossy" when developing routes. The premise revolves around hikers and non-climbers not realizing climbers had come thru. Whether you enjoy this standard of cleaning or not - NO BOLTS AT MOOLACK!!! |
