About Skinners Butte Columns:

Small toproping/trad climbing area. It isn't very extensive, but it sure is convenient. A 45' columnar basalt cliff that has seen climbing since the 1940's. An abundance of approximately "~70" variations of crack climbs from 5.6 to 5.13a, mostly about 5.8-5.10.
Nearest town or city: Eugene
Directions: Take 105 into downtown Eugene. As you cross the bridge over the Willamette River, you can see Skinners Butte on the left. When the freeway ends turn left on Hwy 99. Turn left about 2 traffic lights up on Lincoln. Go up about 3 or 4 blocks and pull into the parking lot on the right. The rock is right in front of you. You can't miss it.
