About Danville:
A small area with a cliff face around 50-60 feet tall. Ranges from slab to overhung. Rock is very dirty and loose in areas- I would recommend a helmet. There are 3 sets of bolted anchors for top roping but you need to use trees further along for some climbs. There is also one sport climb on an overhung area. I'm not good at judging ratings but I would say they range from 5.4-5.9 with most towards the easier side. Not the best area by any standards but could be good if you are taking out friends who have never climbed etc. |
