About Jakes Rocks:

Jake's Rocks is a beatiful and quiet place. It is located near the Kinzua dam. If you have been to Rim Rock you have probably been to or heard of this area. The rock quality is somewhat better than that at Rim Rock. It's smooth in most areas, and coarse and rough in others. Basically a smaller version of rim rock, Jake's Rocks offers climbs ranging from 5.7-5.11. There is minimal moss coverage, but again parts lay shaded under trees. Most climbs are large boulders and a few faces. No bolted routes. Top roping and placing trad gear are only allowed. The park owns this area, so camping is only allowed in designated places. You can drive right up to the area, and parking is available and its just a short hike to the rocks.
