About The Forge:
An old forge used in the early 1800s. It is a giant stone structure that rises 35 feet at the highest. It is a 4 sides structure with various problems. Three of the sides contain indentations that offer additional difficulty. The Forge rests right on an intersection--so expect an audience. |
Nearest town or city: | State College |
Directions: | Just outside University park. Right before you enter East College Ave. If you pass under a bridge and see the Hooters then you went too far. The Forge is at an intersection to the right. |

Access Issues: | I always walk from town, but you can find parking along the main road. I think there is a parking lot near a small lake directly across the street. I've never gotten in trouble yet. Depending on what side you face determines how many people can see you. I doubt anyone will give climbers a hard time. Just don't destroy the place |
