**ALL SAFE HARBOR AREAS ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED** Access to Safe Harbor is currently being negotiated. This is a much larger issue than just climbers gaining access. It involved the role of local government in establishing a rail-trail. We fully believe that some result will be reached in 2004. A full management plan has been developed for the rail-trail including climbing as an approved use. When the trail is established, climbing will be permitted. STAY AWAY UNTIL THEN!!
