About Bear Rocks (Bolivar):
| This bouldering area is in the housing community of Bear Rocks on 3 mile hill outside of Mt. Pleasant. It is home to about 50 boulder problems and several projects. I've been bouldering here for about 5 years. It has everything from slabs to overhanging aretes and the best thing is that it is roadside. Definately worth checking out! |

| Directions: | Head East on Route 31 out of Mt. Pleasant. Start up 3mile hill. Part way up you will see the entrance for Bear Rocks on your right. Turn into the community and continue on the main road to Ski Slope Rd. (4th rd on right?) Follow Ski Slope a short distance over a stream and start up a short hill with a Blue House on your left. The boulders are directly beside the Blue house. Continue to the top of the hill and park by the Stop sign/pull off. Hike back down the road to the boulders. |
