About Master Blaster:
(on right side of gasline) Master Blaster block is the 2nd block after coming up the approach trail. slightly left of the first block when you come in. The block has a huge very easy slab section with a small overhang about 10' up. This face is a great beginners face and leads on gear at 5.2 to 5.5. To the right of this easy face is a right facing dihedral. The route Master Blaster follows cracks and jugs up the overhanging face. To the right of Master Blaster is a right leaning corner that takes excellent gear and is about 5.4 . The slab to the right of this corner is also leadable. |
Approach: | come up from the parking lot at Betty Knox parking area (same as for Lost Crag and The Knobs) Walk past the left gate and follow trail up logging roads just to the right of the gasline. Rocks are located at the top of the gasline. Both left and right |
