About Pike Run Bouldering:
A nice quiet spot w/ a bunch of large boulders, and a few faces making great bouldering and TR. Not sure if there're any bolted routes, but don't put any up. Trad might be a possibility, but I don't climb trad yet, so I wouldn't know. The rocks stay pretty dry for the most part. The ground doesn't dry out as quick after a rain, though. There may be rattlesnakes, mainly because the area is known for them. Haven't seen or heard of them there myself, but better safe than sorry. |

Directions: | Follow route 31 east from Donegal for about 5 miles or so. After you pass the Pike Run country club golf course, the parking area will be on the left. It's pretty small, so don't miss it. There is a trail at the right side of the parking area. Follow this until the trail splits. Take the trail to the right. Follow this for a bit until you come to a place to down climb. It's pretty obvious. |
