About Charleston AFB:

Must have the proper military I.D. or escort to get on the Air Force Base. The hours suck in terms of availability. Extended hours on tuesdays and thursdays (4pm-7pm). I believe they are open daily at 9am. The wall height steps up to 30'. It has routes for all ages and levels. The wall has rock feel and look, good for smearing off of naturals. The regular climbers have put up some sick boulder routes. I am not the best judge of grading routes or boulder problems, but I would say the routes go from 5.6 to 5.10 and the boulder problems from V0 to V4. I am probably a V0 boulderer, but my buddy is super sick with the routes he is putting up.
