About Goldline:

This spire is best approached by walking down from the Needles eye parking lot (towards Sylvan Lake) until you see a trail lead off from the Needles Hwy on your left. Walk around the north side of the Bell Tower until it's possible to turn left and go across the slope which lies downhill from the guardrail on the west side of the Needles Eye Parking lot. You'll see a prominent ridge of rock on your left. Follow this around the to low point, and an easy fourth class climb up onto the ledge. All the climbs on the spire start from this ledge.
