Facing southwest. Got shade in the morning. Become very hot around noon and in the direct sun. OK to climb in winter months. Half-day morning climb in fall & spring.
Approach: 3rd classs crambling follow the cairnes. Then turn downstream along the Pecos river.
Approach Time: 30-45 min from the camp site.
