About Thorn Vine:

The wall extends about fifty yards, at about thirty feet high. The rock quality is questionable in a few areas, but prior to bolting, whatever holds don't look solid have been hammered off the wall. There are currently three routes being bolted, and more likely to follow. The three routes being bolted will likely be lower rated climbs, between 5.8 - 5.10.

Access Issues: As you approach this wall, you will realize the wall's descriptive name is quite accurate. Thorny vines surround the area, hanging off trees, growing over rock, and hiding under topsoil! If you decide to make the trip out of town for the few routes on the wall, you may want to leave your expensive Patagonia fleece at home because the hike to the wall will likely tear up your clothes, pack, etc. On the same note, you may consider leaving your four legged friend at home as well, since the base of the wall is somewhat steep and unstable. Although it is unknown whether the land is on private or state property, there are no homes nearby. Nobody has come to run off any climbers. As of now, there are no access issues other than the uninviting thorn vines.
