Great small area for getting out of the rain or hot summer sun. Plus it's next to the City Rose Garden and water lilly ponds, so there is plenty of cool little shady spots to hangout under the trees or throw the frisbee around, whatever. Located downtown San Angelo on Beauregard ave and the Concho River. Arcoss the street from the city park is a restaraunt called the Peasant Village. Great Gourmet food, though a little pricey, except for the lunch menu. Lots of good heathly items. Behinh the retaraunt is their bar called the South Park Pub. Very small, hip, locals type joint where alot of the upscale neigborhood types from Santa Rita hangout. Look for large, pricey mansion type homes down river up on the cliffs across from golf course and you'll see what I mean.
