About The Notch:

There are no campgrounds or facilities. You can camp here, I prefer sleeping under the big overhang. They are called the red warrior boulders because of the petroglyph found on the back side of one of the boulders. Please do not climb on or around the petroglyph.
Nearest town or city: Nephi
Directions: Seventy miles South of Salt Lake on I-15 is a town called Nephi and route 132. Get of the exit where Wendy's is. Get on 132 West and drive 13 miles. Pay attention to the mile markers. .7 miles past the 20 mile marker is a gravel parking area. Hike from the parking area to the 19 mile marker. Head North into the hills, you will not be able to see the boulders when you start, but you can see the cliff band from where they fell. After 10 minutes you will come to the boulders.
