About Snow Canyon:
Snow Canyon State Park is located 10 miles north of St. George and offers about 100 traditional and sport routes on sandstone. Some of the only multi-pitch sustained sandstone face climbing in the nation is located here.An entrance fee of $5.00 per carload is required to park inside the canyon Most of the climbs are west-facing, therefore it is better to climb in the morning hours during the summer and the afternoon hours during the winter months. |
Nearest town or city: | St. George |
Directions: | Take Bluff Street north from St. George 1/2 miles until the turnoff on the west side of the road (Snow Canyon Parkway). Follow the road north west until a right turn at Tuacahn. There is a "toll booth" at the entrance now. |
