About Black Rocks:

Short sport climbs on vertical to overhanging edgy and pockety basalt. This area is in the Desert Reserve and may be subject to closure if climbers continue to trampel the vegetation, so please stay on the established trail and keep your impact to a minimum at the base of the cliffs. The crag is closed from mid March to June 30th every year due to desert wildlife conservation (Desert Tortoise).
Nearest town or city: St. George
Directions: Follow Bluff Street north until you arrive at a large depression in the road with basalt canyons on either side. Parking can be found on the west side of the road near the bike trail.
