About Causey:

There are a handfull of crags up a nicely shaded canyon. Quality limestone, some of the best that I've climbed in Utah. Secluded, no crowds, cool in the summer. I don't know a lot about specific routes. Just folllow the directions to good looking crags and CLIMB! If you are an .11 or above sport climber you will love this place, guarenteed. If you want further info, contact camhead or xgretax.
Nearest town or city: Huntsville
Directions: Drive up Ogden Canyon to Causey Reservoir. At the dam, take a left, and continue to the gates of Camp Kiesel (property of Boy Scouts of America). Cross a small wooden bridge and follow a trail that goes up the canyon, avoiding the scout camp. The first crags are about a half hour hike away. Just look for bolts. Watch for rattlesnakes as well, when I went there I saw two, one at the base of the crag.
