About Portwoods area:

Portwoods area is the climbing on the lower parts of the massive rock bands that start on both sides of the road and continue up the mountains. Most of the climbs in the canyon are in this area. Ratings from 5-7 to 5-11 can be found here.
Approach: Just over 2 miles up the canyon look for large bands of rock on north and south sides of road. Routes 1 thru 5 are 30 feet from road on the north side.
Approach Time: 10 seconds to 10 minutes.
