About grayson highlands state park:
the road leading into the park area has a few hidden boulder fields on the left and right(keep your eyes open!). once you get into the park, check out the visitors center boulders, and then take the hike up the grassy hill at the rhododendron gap parking lot, at the top of the hill you can take your pick from three differant bouldering fields(all visable from the top) just remember to enjoy the hike! |

Directions: | map quest or, get off i-81 at marion and get on to rt16 south toward sugar grove. drive through sugar grove, troutdale, and grant(staying on 16) untill you reach volney where you will take a right on 58. stay on 58 and you will start to see park signs. the first few boulder fields are right before you get to the park, but the main areas are within it, check them all out!!!! |

Access Issues: | the park service has been very nice to me so far, but has made sure to say "climbings not prohibited in the park,but, not permited eather", so, DONT SCREW IT UP!! |
