Remote south-facing crag near the upper 8-Mile crags (the ridge line visible from the road and 8-Mile campground). The wall is named after an old wooden memorial plaque. |
Approach: | Take the 8-Mile trail (starts near Stones Throw - a few hundred yards East of the campground entrance) past Veterans Club and continue up to the Camp Boulder bivy. Take the steep gully up and right from the bivy site to the base of the Memorial Buttress (the main gully leads to the Upper 8-Mile crags). |
