About Pearly Gates:

Prominent crag to the right of Snow Creek. Finding the trail is tricky.
Approach: Begin at the snow creek parking lot. Cross Icicle creek on the footbridge, follow the trail toward the irrigation canal. At the first cutback after crossing the canal, continue straight- the trail is faint, but distinct. Cross Snow Creek on logs (these move around from season to season) and pick up the trail on the far bank. It will bear uphill along the shoulder of the ridge following snow creek's west bank. Follow the trail directly to pearly gates.
