About Shady Side:

Across the river from the second campground (Popo Agie Campgrd), this rock is the lowest band of dolomite on the south side of the canyon, in the trees. Cross the swinging bridge in the campground, proceed counterclockwise on the nature trail loop. After you come down off the hill, find the trail up to the cliff opoosite a dolomite boulder next to the trail. A nice shady place to climb in the summer. Most of the routes have a set of anchors at the top of the lower, easiest sections, so this is a great place for beginner leaders and classes.
