About Torre Sul:
| Because of the salt spray and for beeing so close to the sea, the bolts may be worn out (oxidated). Be carefull and test them before clipping yourself to those bolts. Use common sense, and if you have any doubts, don't use it. Depending on the moonfase, the tide may be too high to reach some of the routes in the East Side without taking a bath. Sometimes you must rappel from the top of the hill, others you can only top rope as in Torre do Meio. |

| Directions: | From Porto Alegre the distance to Torres is 200km. From Florianópolis the distance is 300km. Once you get to the city, follow the directions to the "parque da Guarita" (Guarita park). At the entrance of the park follow straight ahead road till the parking site. There you will have a good sight of the 3 hills that compose this beautifull park. Standing facing the sea, the rightmost hill is the Torre Sul (south tower). |
