Mt Frade
About Mt Frade:
This massive hunk of rock shoots out of the Brazilian forest and dominates the skyline overlooking Macae. The normal route climbs up the forested ridgeline until finally reaching decision point. Where one must decide to trust his life to old, rusty, steel, cables tied to trees! Frade sits at an (unconfirmed) elevation of 1,450 meters. There is a lifetime of routes to do in this area, all of which are unexplored. Go with time to explore and bushwack. |
