About Cerro Manquehue:
One of the tallest hills that immediately borders Santiago, it is northeast of the city and can be seen quite easily with it's squared off top, the southwestern portion of the summit is rock, anyone un-lazy enough to climb to the summit will probably find some decent routes, no established routes here so you'll have to do trad or aid... or place bolts. If I was you I'd climb in the summer months (november thru march) to avoid the smog |
Nearest town or city: | Santiago |
Directions: | you can drive to the base of the hill since it's urbanized, there are probably quite a few roads that traverse it up to the midpoint. hike from there to the southwestern face of the summit. |
