About Chavin de huantar:

Chavin is a small town in central Peru. It is around 3 hours by bus from the city of Huaraz. There are alot af inca ruines to visit right next to the climbing site.
Nearest town or city: Huaraz
Directions: Take the bus dirrection Chavin-San-Marcos-Huari. Once you arrive in Chavin. Walk up the street where the bus and taxi terminal is. Towards the famous ruines. Ask, even the non-locals know where the ruines are. Or ask for the ''camino hasta shallapa'' Everything is walkable. so it's a 10 minut walk up to the the ruines where a sign for the climbing wall is. Ther is a bridge there, you cant miss it. Plus the wall is easy to see as soon as you get off the bus.
Latitude, Longitude:
Access Issues: there are two paths to get there. 1. Starts from the bridge next to the ruines entry door. 2. Starts behind the coliseum where they have ''corrida de torros''. This second path is easy and clear once you are on it. People often walk on this one compared to the first path.
