Crouching Lion Hill, Chiang Rai2 Km west of Chiang Rai, Thailand - on the north bank of the Mae Kok river is a long hill that parallels the river, across from Pattaya Noi beach. At its east end is this crag - which has never been climbed. Height; approx 35 meters. The white streaked limestone on the right is particularly challenging (at least 5-13) near its base, as it was carved inward by the river. An incredible cave is 100 meters west of this crag. It has 3 chambers, each with a nat'l skylight, and the cave goes completely through the hill.
