Campus Board Training: Advanced Movement
Note: HANGBOARD WARMUP IS AFTER ABOUT 1 HR OF CLIMBING WARMUP. IT IS A WARM UP TO CAMPUS BOARD WORKOUT
Training can sometimes feel like work for some people. Training for me is something I am excited about doing. I am a "weekend warrior" so I need to train hard during the week to keep up with my projects. Pushing past plateaus in climbing is very difficult and my training routines have to be modified frequently in order to not become stagnant. I like to take my older routines and add new routines in the mix such as dynamic hangboard training and using the atomik bomb line holds. Getting done at the end of a training session and feeling the tightness and burn makes me feel good knowing that next time I get outside on rock I will feel confident in my strength and endurance for a problem or route.
