In the Exposition category Long time poster Douglas Hunter's The Self-Coached Climber is a finalist. The Self-Coached Climber was a finalist for a National Outdoor Book Award last year but did not win, so hopes are high for Banff.

The festival runs from October 27 thought November 4th, and includes a long list of events and appearances.
