The Rockclimbing.com Event Calendar is a FREE service to the global climbing community. We ask that you help us by following a few simple rules and guidelines to keep this place tidy.

  1. List your event in a single category only
  2. Please pick the most appropriate category and list your event in that. Multiple posts will be removed - all of them, not only the duplicate. Events that are in the wrong category may be moved or removed. No SPAM will be allowed.

  3. No UPPER CASE SUBJECT LINES
  4. Do not post subject lines of events in upper case letters. Upper case letters are rude and considered shouting.

  5. No HTML allowed
  6. You are not allowed to use any HTML anywhere in your event listing. Any event containing HTML will be deleted.

  7. No ==>"Eye Catchers"<==
  8. Do not use "eye catchers" in your subject lines to try and draw attention to your event. Examples are adding characters like ==> <== or ** ** around the subject. Please type a clear descriptive subject only. These characters makes the calendar look tacky and is not in line with the Rockclimbing.com brand of providing clear un-cluttered content. Help us keep it tidy. Events that use this practice will be removed.
  9. URL or Links only
  10. Your event listing has to contain material and substantive information about the actual event. The Rockclimbing.com calendar is not set up to serve as a "links directory" to external sites where events are listed or can be viewed. We provide a field where you can enter your URL to direct users to your site for more information. Make sure they get some substance right here.

  11. Duplicate events
  12. If you decide to post something that has already been posted again then you have delete your original post first. If a duplicate event for the same item is found both will be removed.

We reserve the right to refuse service and remove any event without providing a reason. Repeat offenders and spammers will have their usernames disabled. Thanks for supporting Rockclimbing.com and thank you for helping us keep the Calendar tidy and easy to use for everyone.
