I grew up in Ironton, (A stones throw from Elephant Rocks) looking back I always wanted to get the eff outta that town complaining there was nothing to do, however if I knew then what I knew now I'd been much better off.
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is this summer around August September Time frame I INTEND to go back to Ironton and spend a few days checking out some local areas and seeing if I can find anything new and iron out some access issues (Seeing as I'm related or are good friends with most of the town.) I'm about 100% positive that Johnson Shut-Ins is no longer climbable. I'm going to look into it when I'm back, it's on my list. Also get some coords for locations, and better directions. If anyone wants to tag along, shoot me a PM and we'll talk specifics, Thanks guys.
