so mount washington is one thing. went up it once... tuckerman ravine turns into a waterfall when it rains, in case anyone was curious. but it was raining when we started, and it'd been raining for quite some time, and it's not that much fun to not climb in the rain so.... hiking. yeah. it was cold... there was snow at the top and this was june. but the WG will go in as few as 3 pitches, i know because i've done it that way. it was my very first* multipitch. and you can see the whole god damn mountain from a 4 lane highway. if you're concerned about your lack of speediness, wouldn't you just wait till there weren't clouds?
*this is kind of a lie. i did a "two pitch" route at the red before this, but both pitches were only a total of ~100 feet high.
