If you have a big dog and dog food is on the rise you could *make* dinner for him/her. It should cost less if you share. It seems dogs eat around the same time we do, coz that's when they bother us most.

the disorder of my class tonight is interesting. Day one, new semester. ?my prof literally has his notes hand written on a piece of crumbled up note paper. It's wild. I want a beer no, gimmie a shot. This is going to be painful.

He is a trim 130 pound Bullmastiff who eats more per day than our other 3 dogs combined, and likely eats more than my better half and I do a day combined. I can't wait till he stops growing.... But he does carry the rope to the climb for me. My GF has a pack like that for her dog. Hmmm... Maybe we'll never have to carry the rope again?

I didn't get up to much... still have only been on rock once since I was sick a whole year ago. I can't believe it's been almost a year since we were at the New? I wondered the other day how that guy is these days... the one who broke both ankles! Stupid boulderers! Anyhoo... worked at the Wall a bit, climbed even less, ran a couple of miles, watched Enter the Dragon, got a bit of sun before the clouds rolled in and didn't rain! Prepared more for our Thailand trip. Climbing gear is mostly packed and almost ready to run out the door. 13 sleeps!! What about when you were climbing in your approach shoes? Yeah, that was the one time I've climbed outside since last year. I have bumbled around on the rockwall a fair bit, but that doesn't really count too much. I guess I'll see in a couple of weeks. You are a liar. That can't have been a year already.

Although, you might want to read the article about dog hairs causing micro-fractures in rope. You'll never be able to get them out!

Works even better if you coil the rope in 2 halves, and hang one on top of either saddle bag. Even's the load and reduces the tendency for the bag to tip around the dog. Mind you my buddy's shepherd doesn't have that probem ever no matter the load on the pack... could be that my dog has no shoulders/withers, just a mass of muscle, and the pack doesn't anchor as well to his back. Kind of like how saddles are hard to fit for draft horses. Oh, and nobody messes with my gear at the bottom of a climb.... very good guard.

wanderlustmd wrote: The forecast was indeed screwed up (again) this weekend. I didn't plan much for Saturday due to the "rain," and went a little stir-crazy watching it get nicer and nicer. And Sunday it ended up moist when it called for sun. Go figure... I learned my lesson Friday. I looked at the radar and there was a big band of rain coming out of Michigan. Then went to work on the deck. When it started to sprinkle I picked up and it stopped sprinkling by that time. I looked ate the radar again and it had all fallen apart getting here. We went expecting a few sprinkles Sat. but that didn't even happen. The forcasters around here are retarded too. Anytime there is even a small amount of precip. they make it sound like a total wash. Forget about when we might get 2 inches of snow!

He won't stop easting after he stops growing, but he will eat only 1/3 as much. He gets the top of the line food... the cheep stuff doesn't agree with him. Ran into some trouble with that in the past... Vet bills are proportionately increase with large dogs.

This will do nicely. *looks around* I call Dibs on the recliner for evah! This place is plenty big. I think there is room for all the regulars to have a recliner. Before we go to nuts we should make sure all the important stuff fits in here. Where are the lists Art? I don't care if there is room. I just took arts recliner. He can sit on the floor. All ninjas sit on the floor don't they? Why not sit in your recliner? I like art's better. Besides its a good excuse for tossing him around Art is NOT a dwarf!! There will be no tossing of Art.

You will be on the road and toolbag would demand a name change and you would have had to find an internet cafe or something to do that immediately. You know how demanding chossy is Who is demanding? Me or the toolbags? The tool bags wouldn't let WMD climb his wet route. I on the other hand had a TR all strung up for you ready to go.
