Will, I'm thinking Sat. or Sun. depending on weather. I don't even know if either of those days will be clear enough to climb; I will have to check the extended forcast. Do you have any day in mind or will those days work for you? It's raining in the Springs now, I guess afternoon climbing is out. :x

Please direct any blame at Tim who sold me said drill....it really is his fault. Carry on.....

So, Mr. "We-Don't-Need-No-Stinking-Bolts", what's your first outdoor gym project going to be? And did you get the Bosch, the Hilti, or the metro-pink Mattel drill that goes with the Easy-Bake Oven? I hear that the approach to Highwire Crag could use a bolt.

Hey Nicerack and Mackavus!! Remember that sandwhich that was inthe back of my truck that was like 5 days old and I asked wether or not it was still safe to eat? Guess what I found last night while I was emptying out gear!! Ive never seen a blue sandwhich before. Plus the bag is all bloated. I was going to pop it but Im going to save it for the road trip. MMMM all that 100 degree heat makes for some interesting chemistry.

The Hilti...But I think I'll paint it pink to match my lycra.... I'm actually planning to finish a multi pitch...mixed route that I started hand drilling a couple of years ago...plus something super secret(and slightly illegal) that will benefit all of us....I'm also planning on continuing to chop stupid bolts like the one that was formally on the approach to highwire. Mostly though I'm planning on replacing bunk anchors....and, ah grid bolting. josh

PSA: Garden of the Gods, Grey Rock, Route-New Era.... The right hand bolt as your facing it, on the second belay stance, is loose. I didn't have a wrench to see if it is spinning, but it has a pretty good wiggle to it.

PUHLLEZZZE, don't bring that shit on a road trip with me. You'll be doing an imitation of the dog from "Vacation." Although, I hear you like being tied to a bumper as long as you have lemon squares to eat

Just a few final touches and we are roadbound. I'm going to try my best to drop in the posts and pics of our progress (for those interested). Stop 1 Veadawoo.

Hey folks, I've got the green light for climbing Thursday night. Talked with Jeremy, and we may hit the Eiger for old times sake before they hit the road. Any other plans for tomorrow post work? KT

Here is another shot from my climb on the Petit a few weeks ago; Ross (--ross) snapped this shot from our perch on top of the 5th pitch of the South Face route looking across as Roy Leggett (rleggett) lead out on the 3rd pitch of the Pocketknife on the Saber:http://www.rockclimbing.com/...p.cgi?Detailed=58357
