for a wide shoe...pretty much anything american made. Evolv, five.ten, etc. I like the evolv agro and kaos, and the galileo and moccasym from five.ten. I have a very wide foot and they all fit me pretty well

Or it's because they drop gobs of advertising dollars into the mags and expect a return on their investment. There are still some impartial reviews out there but you won't find them in Climbing. Personally I just like it for the pictures.
