Sorry overhung, couldn't resist. Oh, and Jeff (Twall Tom, tradpuppy, whatever), I'd love to come down and climb in the land of orange corners that is T-Wall, but the wife and I will be road tripping west, not south during that time!! Hey, had a great time showing you some of the Red's finest cracks while letting sportlooser climb those overhaning pockets that folks round here seem to dig.

Jaybee (former Hitler in a Railroad Hat, JB, etc.) Twall Tom had to die, unfortunately. Twall Tammy wanted a divorce, so he couldn't live with himself anymore, or anyone else for that matter, so we put that mad cow out to pasture. I hope to be making a return trip to the Red sometime this winter. Sportloser? Well, he'll just boulder and boulder and boulder some more. Biggah, I'm not sure if there's room for you because I think the T-wall is: SMALLERNHELL!!!! Mwaaaa haa haa. Really, I think we could possibly accomodate you.

Hmmm? I think that we could arrange something. Most of those guys (with the exception of Mikey) have never even been to the trad crack paradise that is T-Wall. I'm sure that they'll be itching to go.

OK, all you T-Wallians, here's some T-Wall directions: From the north: Take I-75 south until it turns into I-24 near Chattanooga. You will see where 75 veers off left down into Ga. Go another 5 miles or so on I-24 until you see the signs on the right for "27 North, Downtown Chattanooga" on the RIGHT side of the interstate. Take the exit for 27 north, following it past downtown. Cross the Tennessee River over the Olgiati bridge (under construction, be careful) and go another mile or so, going up and then back down a hill. On the descending side of the hill, look out for "highway 127/Signal Mountain Rd" on the RIGHT. Take a RIGHT onto the 127 exit and follow it to the bottom of the hill. Take another RIGHT and go on through 2 or 3 traffic lights, past a Burger King and a Bi-Lo Shopping Center. Drive on toward the base of the mountain, and after about 3/5 mile past the Bi-Lo, you'll see a sign on the LEFT for "127 west/ Suck Creek Rd." Turn LEFT onto Suck Creek Rd. and follow it about 4 miles until you reach a small concrete bridge. IMMEDIATELY after the bridge, on the LEFT, will be River Canyon Rd. Turn LEFT onto River Canyon Rd. and prepare yourself for the winding white trash tour. BTW, this rd. winds along right next to the Tennessee River for the most part. You will go approx. 6.3 miles on River Canyon Rd. Drive slow, there's about 1,000,000 blind curves and the road is quite narrow. After 6.3 miles, you'll see a large parking lot/pulloff on the LEFT and most likely there will be cars parked there. All the camping is on the left side of the road. Remember, this large parking lot on the left will be the only pulloff of its size, so it will be hard to miss. The trail to the cliff is just before the parking lot on the right, btw. I'm going to try and get up there on the 26th myself. If you are approaching from the south, the directions are the same except you'll veer left onto I-24 west toward Nashville off I-75 north. I would love to come out and give some of this stuff a try, but only if you guys wouldn't mind showing a real noob the ropes. I've never worked a roped route outside, but I have done a lot of bouldering. If you'll teach me, I'd love to come learn. stephen tyndall

What part of the wall is everyone going to be at first? the 26th is the first day correct? Another question: Is the wall going to be open? it was closed this past weekend due to a hunt.

There are no more hunting closures until spring. We'll probably start out going right at the top of the trail to begin with (Nappy, Plastic Toys, etc.).
